Two men are facing murder charges in connection to a fatal shooting in 2003, according to Arlington police.
Police said 52-year-old John Biddle was arrested Thursday, and 55-year-old Raymond Malone was taken into custody a day later. Both men were in the Tarrant County jail as of Saturday afternoon, according to online records.
It’s not immediately clear if they have attorneys.
Officers responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of Randol Mill Road and Web Street just before 2:30 p.m. on June 23, 2003, according to police.

There, they found a truck with multiple bullet holes.
Police said a relative was attempting to drive Terrick Rutherford, a 26-year-old man who was unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds, to the hospital. He was then transported to an area hospital where he later died, according to the news release.
Prior to the shooting, witnesses said Rutherford had been at a nightclub in the 700 block of N. Watson Road, according to police. They said a group of men approached and argued with Rutherford at the club, before a fight broke out in the parking lot.
After the nightclub security broke up the fight, Rutherford left and began driving north on N. Watson Road.
Multiple shots were then fired into Rutherford’s vehicle when he approached the traffic light at Six Flags Drive, police said. His relative was driving behind him in another vehicle when the shooting happened.
Investigators also identified Malone and Biddle — who they said are documented gang members — as the shooting’s suspects at the time, according to police. But they said they didn’t have enough evidence for murder charges then, and a grand jury declined to indict the two men on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity.
Nearly 22 years later, police said they were notified last month about a potential witness who wanted to speak with them about the shooting. The testimony placed Malone and Biddle at the crime scene.
Police also conducted follow-up interviews with original witnesses from the case, according to the news release.
