The Boston Red Sox are looking to complete a sweep of the Houston Astros on Sunday, Aug. 3 when they face off at Fenway Park in Boston.
The game is scheduled to start at 11:35 a.m. EDT and will be streamed on Roku. Fans looking to watch this MLB game need either a Roku streaming device or they need to download or visit The Roku Channel on mobile or online. The Red Sox game will be available for free.
Boston has won four straight games and six of its last seven to climb into second in the AL East at 61-51. The squad is still four games behind the Toronto Blue Jays, but half a game ahead of the New York Yankees.
On Saturday, the Red Sox cruised to a 7-3 victory after going down 2-0 in the top of the first inning thanks to a Christian Walker 2-run home run. Romy Gonzalez responded in the bottom of the frame with a homer of his own to get Boston on the board, and in the third, the squad grabbed a lead it would never relinquish. Trevor Story and Abraham Toro both hit two-run shots, and Story also had an RBI-double in the seventh to close the scoring. However, the end of that inning did provide some additional fireworks as the benches cleared.
On Sunday, Lucas Giolito takes the bump for Boston and Framber Valdez gets the start for the Astros. Valdez is 11-4 on the season with a 2.62 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP while Giolito is 7-2 and has a 3.80 ERA and 1.25 WHIP.
