CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The 2025 Boston College Eagles wrapped up their first week of Training Camp on Sunday morning after taking the field for the fourth time this summer.

It was the defense that set the tone early in competitive team drills by stopping the run and getting active in the passing lanes. Sedarius McConnell isn’t the type of guy who backs down from anyone.

At the conclusion of practice, offensive lineman Dwayne Allick and defensive lineman Sedarius McConnell met with the media.

“Offensively and defensively, we don’t like to lose against each other. We’re very prideful. We’re going to bring it every day,” said the redshirt senior defensive lineman.

The offense would soon find their groove after a series of tough, hard-nosed runs from a deep running back room. For Eagles’ veteran Dwayne Allick, the identity of the team, even through just four Training Camp practices, is clear.

“The run game has always been a staple of BC… That’s what we’re built on, physicality,” said the graduate offensive lineman.

After a day off tomorrow, the team returns to the practice fields on Tuesday morning. Practices are closed to the public.
