An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in the city’s northwest Monday, Calgary police said.
It happened at Crowchild Trail and Stoney Trail at around 2 p.m.
Police say southbound Stoney Trail from Crowchild Trail and both eastbound and westbound Crowchild are completely closed off to all traffic.
After being closed, westbound access from the Crowchild Trail off-ramp to southbound Stoney Trail is now open, but the Stoney Trail at Crowchild Trail closure is now in all directions.

The police traffic unit is investigating the cause.
Delays are expected in the area for several hours.
There is no word on other injuries and victims in the crash.
