A group of men terrorized employees and customers of a food truck on Sunday in a disturbing on-camera attack that’s under investigation by police.

Tacos Los Poblanos said its Florence location on Avalon Boulevard will be closed until further notice after a large group of men vandalized its food truck and equipment van. Surveillance footage posted by the business showed the group using bats and throwing items at the business to vandalize it.

“They came out of nowhere,” said the owner’s daughter, who asked to conceal her identity out of fear for her family’s safety, “Out of nowhere, we look up and it’s about 30 men entering. They came in with the intention of creating chaos and harming people.”

The incident was reported shortly after midnight on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers were called to the scene for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

The owner’s daughter said several employees were physically attacked by the assailants. She said one worker was so badly beaten with a bat that he had to be hospitalized.

“He has a family, he has a wife who is expecting,” she said. “So, this is devastating.”

LAPD has not released a detailed description of the individuals wanted in connection with the attack. The case remains under investigation.
