It seems like a new royal book is coming out every few months, divulging all the royal secrets, from the sweet ones to the ones that make us cringe. But now, the newest royal book dropped, which claims that Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, was crushing hard on Kevin Costner.

In case you missed it, the talk of the town has been the upcoming book entitled, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie, which claims that after Ferguson’s reported infatuation with John F. Kennedy Jr, she had her eyes set on Costner.
The book details her next “amorous obsession” was Costner, who had recently divorced his first wife, Cindy Silva, in 1994. She allegedly tried to attract him, or as Lownie said, “plagued” him, with “raunchy phone calls.”
However, Costner reportedly told friends he wasn’t interested, saying, “She’s a woman crying out for love.” (Real harsh, but okay.)

While Lownie didn’t mention how they met, we do know Costner and Ferguson have interacted prior to that. Specifically, per ABC News, Ferguson was the one who put Costner in touch with Princess Diana for The Bodyguard sequel that ended up never coming to be, and even sent Diana the script.
Now, neither has publicly commented on these claims from Lownie
