ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The WNBA will expand to Toronto next year, but fans won’t have to wait that long to see women’s basketball north of the border.
The Dream are set to face the Seattle Storm at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Aug. 15.
It will be the first WNBA regular season game played in Canada. A preseason exhibition had previously been held in Toronto in 2023.
The Vancouver game will be the fourth matchup between the Dream and Storm this season. The teams split the first two matchups, and a third is set for Aug. 13 in Seattle.
The games on Aug. 13 and Aug. 15 will be a part of WNBA Rivals Week.
The Toronto Tempo are set to begin play in 2026.
