Two teenagers are wanted in a shooting in Scarborough that left a boy seriously injured Wednesday afternoon.

Toronto police said they got a call for a shooting in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Warden Avenue at 3:50 p.m.

When officers arrived, they located a teenage boy with gunshot wounds.

Paramedics told CTV News Toronto that the victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police initially were looking for three suspects, but in an update, they said two Black boys believed to be five-foot-six are being sought. One has short dreadlocks and is wearing a red shirt, while the other has a black shirt and a bandana covering his face.

Police said the suspects were last seen northbound on Warden Avenue.
