Students in Jurupa Valley aren’t the only ones ready to go back to school.
A bull found its way onto school grounds on Wednesday, prompting a quick response from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s station.
Using a lasso and some calm tactics, deputies were able to safely contain the animal.
“While we don’t recommend this kind of drop-off, we’re glad everyone is safe and ready for a successful start to the school year,” the station said in a social media post.
With the help of deputies, animal control and local handlers, the incident was resolved.
It is unclear where the bull came from, but there were no injuries to students, staff, deputies or the bull, the department said.
