Heavy Heavy Low Low frontman Robbie Smith and former HORSE the Band bassist Dashiell Arkenstone have a new horror film on the way titled I Don’t Like It Here. This marks the third cinematic collaboration between the duo, following 2020’s Morning Deliveries and 2023’s Grieve.
According to the film’s IMDb description, the plot follows:
“A parolee returns to his bleak hometown and discovers a dark force gripping the community. While confronting his past and the town’s hidden evils, he’s suspected of committing brutal murders.”
I Don’t Like It Here premiered at the Unnamed Footage Festival in March and is currently on the festival circuit, and is seeking distribution for a wider release. Watch the teaser trailer below.
