At first blush, this appears to be a standard modern kitchen build:
But pan out, and you’ll see it’s been made with a ton of repurposed old windows and drawers.
It was done by Piet Hein Eek for a client in Utrecht. Among other projects, the Dutch designer has begun producing custom kitchens using repurposed materials. “Combining different styles/designs/functionalities and materials to create one amazing family home kitchen,” he writes of the Utrecht kitchen. “It’s been an immense amount of work and we’re so happy to finally see this come to life.”
