Fort Worth police’s homicide unit is investigating after a person was shot in their vehicle in front of a restaurant Thursday night.
According to a police department spokesperson, officers were dispatched Thursday night to a shooting call in the 6100 block of Ramey Avenue, near Lake Arlington.
According to police, the person was seated in their vehicle in front of a restaurant, identified in a police report as Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken and Seafood, when it appeared a second party drove up and fired multiple shots into the vehicle.
The person was struck multiple times. Fort Worth police said its homicide unit was investigating the incident, but did not say if the person died. They were not identified by police.
