PHOENIX — Beginning Sunday night, portions of southbound Mill Avenue will be closed over the next month as the Refresh Tempe project continues to make progress.
Roadway closures ranging from Rio Salado Parkway to Fifth Street will be enforced overnight from Aug. 10 to Sept. 12. The closures will last from 10 p.m. on Sundays to 7 a.m. on Fridays.
The northbound and southbound lanes of Mill Avenue will be accessible from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
Any parking garages along the construction route will stay open, according to a press release.
