Everyone loves round numbers.
And for Lexie Hull on Saturday night, that meant a milestone for the Indiana Fever.
Hull nabbed the 100th steal of her WNBA career during the Fever’s win over the Chicago Sky.
It’s a nice moment for her amid what has been a rough stretch of play.
Hull hasn’t hit many outside shots lately at all, and it’s invited a lot of vitriol on social media.
But earlier this week, one poster went viral for a post defending Hull.
Hull’s mother noticed, and she shared a thoughtful post on X about the exchange.
This post brought tears to my eyes.Nobody will ever understand how hard Lexie is on https://t.co/scXd02UFnB her mom I wish I could fix it.I can’t.This is something she has to do on her own. Thanks to every single one of you that support her! Supporters>Haters https://t.co/PjMi4ZHYTD

Hull reaching the milestone Saturday night had to be another feel-good moment. It’s just one steal in one game, but it’s at a time when every little victory has to feel good for Hull.
She also did it with the Fever wearing their awesome Stranger Things-themed uniforms, which adds to the vibes of the whole event.
Hopefully it’s the kind of moment that can give Hull a jumpstart. It certainly seemed to, as she went for 17 points vs. the Sky.
The Fever really need their talented wing right now. Caitlin Clark is out indefinitely, and both Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald are out for the season.
Any good Hull can provide is a step in the right direction for Indiana.
