NORTH RICHLAND HILLS – Wanda Marie Colling passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 97. Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, August 11, 2025, in the Sandburg Room at Mount Olivet Chapel. Funeral: 12:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Wanda was born April 3, 1928, in Akron, Ohio to Amos Pugh and Viola Mae Kohl Orndorff. She married John Daniel Colling on February 12, 1946, in Akron before moving to Texas in 1985. They lived first in Tyler and Waxahachie before moving permanently to North Richland Hills in 2002. She had a long career as a secretary and office manager for Nationwide Insurance Agency and Mutual Benefit Life Insurance. As a lifetime member of The Assemblies of God, she spent many years involved in the Women’s Missionary Council. Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years; her parents; and her siblings, Marvin Orndorff and his wife, Vella May; Maxine Eggers and her husband, Donald; Dwight Orndorff and his wife, Jeannie; Wayne Orndorff and his wife, Doris; Paul Orndorff and his wife, Nona; and Joyce Walker and her husband, John. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Renee’ Wallis and her husband, Jay; daughter Pamela Kay Colling; her grandson, Michael Thomas Wallis and his wife, Evelyn Perry.
