SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital with stab wounds after trying to break up a fight downtown.
Police were called out to North Presa and Crockett for a fight at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found a 30-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He told the officers he was attempting to break up the fight when the suspect stabbed him in the back.
The 36-year-old suspect was identified and taken into custody.
The victim was transported to the hospital.
