HOUSTON, Texas – An investigation is underway after a 12-year-old was shot and killed in a shooting in west Houston Sunday afternoon.
Houston police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 12658 block of Dairy Ashford around 3 p.m.
According to initial reports, a man was shot in the leg, but officers later confirmed a 12-year-old was shot and killed. It’s not clear if this was a double shooting or if the child was the only person shot during this incident.
