FORT WORTH, Texas — A fatal crash Monday morning closed all westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near downtown Fort Worth, officials said.
The crash was reported around 6:26 a.m. Monday in the westbound lanes of I-30 near U.S. 287, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
At least five vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. A passenger in one of the vehicles was declared dead at the scene, officials said.
No other major injuries were reported, police said. Officials are investigating the incident, and the westbound lanes will remain closed while investigators are on the scene.
