EAST JORDAN, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU)— An American flag sculpture, crafted from painted aluminum, has returned to its original home at the historic East Jordan Foundry.

The sculpture, which adorned the foundry building for decades, was reinstalled Monday outside the EJ corporate office.

The return of the sculpture follows the foundry’s move to a new facility in 2018 and the demolition of the old building in 2022.

Officials stated that the new sculpture honors generations of EJ employees.

EJ said the sculpture was created in collaboration with East Jordan High School welding students, EJ team members, and community partners.
