Officers of the Sainik Welfare department in association with Dhaksha Drones, a unit of Coromandel International, has organised ‘Drone Entrepreneurship Programme for Ex-servicemen’ here on Tuesday (August 12).
Principal Secretary (Home) Kumar Vishwajeet, along with Director Sainik Welfare Brigadier V. Venkata Reddy, Additional Director Satya Prasad, Dhaksha Drones CEO S. Sachidanand, representatives Sreenivas Prasad and Mahesh launched the programme.
As part of the entrepreneurship development programme, Dhaksha Drones will provide drones to the ex-servicemen after imparting training to the beneficiaries.
Mr. Kumar Vishwajeet appreciated the Dhaksha Drones for coming forward to provide entrepreneurship for the ex-servicemen in the State. The Sainik Welfare Director said about 1.50 lakh ex-servicemen are there in A.P. Coromandel International will provide work to the ex-servicemen in the agriculture farms, said Mr. Sachidanand.
