The Jacksonville Jaguars hit the road for the first time in 2025 for a preseason matchup against the New Orleans Saints in Caesars Superdome. Sunday’s game marks the fourth meeting between the Jaguars and Saints in the preseason.
Jacksonville is 1-2 in those three contests and 60-55 all-time in the preseason. Last week’s game against Pittsburgh was highlighted by a 70-yard field goal made by K Cam Little to end the first half. This marked the longest field goal made in the preseason since at least the 1970 NFL-AFL merger. The longest in the regular season is 66 yards, set by K Justin Tucker.
WR Brian Thomas Jr. will make his return to the Bayou State for the first time in his NFL career since being drafted 23rd overall by Jacksonville in 2024. Thomas Jr. is a native of Walker, La., where he was a dual-sport athlete in football and basketball at Walker High School. He left as the No. 4 prospect in the state in 2020.
