DALLAS TWP. — A police standoff that closed roadways ended peacefully Thursday.
According to the news release, Dallas Township Police were dispatched to a residence on Lake Street for a reported domestic incident.
Investigators say a female suspect allegedly assaulted a male victim Wednesday night. The victim contacted police once he was able to leave the residence and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The female barricaded herself inside the residence. Officers attempted to make contact with her, but she refused to come out.
Lake Street was closed between College Manor and Elmcrest as a precaution, but reopened around 4:45 p.m., according to Dallas Township Police. Officers remained on scene to process evidence.
