Expect high-quality, scratch-made bites that blend Brazilian flavors with Cuban sandwich classics, from the Classic Cubano to the Brazilian-style cheesesteak, plus vegan options and craveable sides like pão de queijo and beef empanadas.

Kolache Shoppe has teamed up with Craft Pita this month, dreaming up a Lebanese sausage and cheese kolache stuffed with hot soujouk beef sausage, Akkawi cheese,and a za’atar butter glaze. Find the $4.15 special Thursday through Saturday at the Greenway location and Friday–Sunday at the Heights and Pearland shops.

Chef Lung Ly of 93’ Til and pitmaster Don Nguyen of Khói Barbecue are joining forces for an epic one-day-only collaboration, slinging a special Vietnamese barbecue menu on a first-come, first-served basis. Expect spring roll platters, smoked brisket, short rib and sausages, low country pit-smoked shrimp and more. The menu is designed for sharing.

Weekends just got a little better as Saint Arnold Beer Garden & Restaurant adds its new Saturday and Sunday brunch service from. Houston Restaurant Weeks, the Houston Food Bank’s epic annual fundraiser, is hitting hard now through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. Now’s your chance to dine for a cause as participating restaurants across the city offer multi-course meals for brunch and lunch ($25) or dinner ($39 or $55), with $1 to $5 from each going to support the fight against hunger. This year’s lineup features exciting newcomers like Barbacana and Okto, alongside returning favorites including Pondicheri and the beloved Rainbow Lodge.
