Texas peach season is in full swing, and San Antonio is about to be peachy keen with an upcoming festival celebrating the famous Hill Country fruit. Peach Fest will showcase Texas peaches in all their glory with a local vendor market on June 28.

2. 3 years after Dobbs, Texans still fight for clarity in abortion law

Tuesday marked three years since the U.S. Supreme Court handed down the historic ruling in the Dobbs case, which overturned Roe v. Wade and ended the constitutional right to an abortion. The ruling left it up to states to decide whether to uphold access to the procedure.

While the decision allowed Texas to enact sweeping restrictions, it also sparked legal challenges and efforts to clarify when doctors can intervene and whether there should be more exceptions.
