PHOENIX — A woman is dead after a crash in Phoenix on Saturday night. 

The woman was driving a sedan when she allegedly failed to yield to a tow truck during a left turn at the intersection of Northern and 7th avenues around 9:30 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.

She was identified as 92-year-old Carolyn Pain.

Crash involves tow truck with 3 occupants

Three occupants were evaluated by the fire department in the second vehicle.

They were identified as an adult male driver, a teenager and an infant, none of whom were injured in the crash.

Impairment was not believed to be a factor in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
