2025 Fort Worth Burger Week
More than 30 Fort Worth restaurants will serve $7 burgers this week benefitting the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Participating restaurants include burger institutions like Fred’s Texas Café and Tommy’s Hamburgers as well as newer spots like Duchess, Rex’s Bar & Grill, and Crystal Springs Hideaway. Every burger earns an entry to win a backyard hamburger party for 30 courtesy of The Hamburger Man. Burger Week runs through Sunday.

#SaveTheTacos in Arlington
The fourth annual two-week dine-out event and restaurant competition features specialty tacos from two dozen Arlington restaurants. The top taco will be voted on by diners. Participating restaurants and their tacos include the chicharron ribeye taco from Cut & Bourbon, duck carnitas from Hurtado Barbecue, and Freaky with Tzatziki from Prince Lebanese Grill. The winning taco will be announced on October 3 and the first 50 customers will get it for free on National Taco Day on October 7.

Rombauer Vineyards Wine Dinner at Don Artemio
Upscale Mexican eatery will host a speaker from Rombauer Vineyards to guide guests through five courses paired with the California wines. Courses include peach quinoa salad, duck taco in black cherry mole sauce, tamal with red wine reduction, sous-vide rack of lamb, and red berry gazpacho with almond sponge cake. The dinner is $225 plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6:30 pm.
Tokyo Cafe Omakase: A Night of Yoshoku
Yoshoku is Japanese for “Western food,” and Tokyo Café will serve its rendition of just that during this six-course tasting dinner. Menu highlights include chilled Wagyu hambagu steak, pepperjack cheese-stuffed spam potama, and honeydew melon soda ice cream float. The dinner is $80 and begins at 7 pm.

Cool Wine Dinner at Grace
August is hot, but Grace is cool, especially during this refreshing wine dinner featuring dishes aimed at beating the heat. Menu highlights include red and yellow tomato gazpacho, bluefin tuna and sweet prawn tartare, short rib pastrami, and Haitian chocolate pudding with toasted farro ice cream. The dinner is $159 plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6:30 pm with a bubbly reception followed by a 7 pm seating.

The Backyard Unplugged Presents: TCU Spirit Night
Horned Frog fans unite during this theme night in The Backyard at Hotel Drover. There’ll be live music, TCU-themed cocktails, and room to dance under the Stockyards lights. Specialty libations will include the Riff Ram made with La Pulga Tequila Blanco, lime juice, and a rose sugar rim, the Super Frog made with Balcones Baby Blue Whiskey, lime juice, club soda, blackberries, and mint, and the Spirit Splash mocktail made with lychee puree, lemonade, blueberry syrup, and mint syrup. The party runs from 7–10 pm.

Mango Joy Ride Tour
The National Mango Board will send its mango bus on a “joy ride” across the Southern U.S., and the only stops in Texas happen this weekend. (New this year is a spicy partnership with Tajin chile-lime seasoning.) Visit H-E-B in Burleson from 9 am–12 pm and H-E-B in Mansfield from 2–5 pm for free mango samples, games, swag, recipes, and demos.
