Last time, the Big Apple took a large bite out of the Orange & Blue. This time, the winged lions look to claw and bite back.
But how much has NYCFC changed since that loss at Citi Field in May? Cincinnati has managed to hurdle some of the competition, while the Pigeons from the 5 Boroughs have treaded water, especially on the road. Then again, NYCFC rode the hot gloved hands of Matt Freese to win the last time at TQL Stadium in the 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs.
