The rain is clearing out from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but a few more showers might develop before a sunny weekend.
The scattered showers are most likely to the south and east of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but may catch Dallas and Collin counties in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Rain chances are only marginal at DFW International Airport but reach 20% at Dallas Love Field in the afternoon.
The highs Thursday and Friday are expected to be perfectly seasonable for the third week of August, maxing out at 94-95 degrees. The temperature is expected to climb just a little this weekend, up to 97 degrees Saturday and Sunday.
The skies are expected to be clear throughout the weekend, with full sun and moderate humidity.
