TOWN OF OSWEGO, N.Y. — “Mac,” the wallaby who had been missing for nearly two weeks, has safely returned to her home at Grace and Glory Animals in Oswego.
Crews employed drones and trail cameras in their search efforts to locate the elusive animal. Although the owners had been aware of Mac’s whereabouts for several days, they needed time to devise a plan to capture her without risking another escape.
The extreme heat earlier this week prompted Mac to seek refuge in a shady spot deep within the brush, making her difficult to reach.
Mac is now back home with her owners at Grace and Glory Animals.
