New arc began in 17th episode
Netflix unveiled during its panel at Anime NYC on Thursday an English-dubbed trailer for the second part of the television anime of Yuuto Suzuki‘s Sakamoto Days manga. The anime previews the JCC Exams Arc, which began with the anime’s 17th episode:
The anime’s 17th episode streamed on Netflix in Japan on August 11, and it aired on television in Japan and on Netflix worldwide on Monday.

The anime’s second part premiered on July 14 on TV Tokyo and affiliated channels. The second part’s first episode streamed in advance on Netflix on July 14, and only the 12th episode streamed simultaneously with the Japanese TV broadcast.
Masaki Watanabe (KADO – The Right Answer, Bartender, several Battle Spirits anime) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment. Taku Kishimoto (BLUELOCK, Haikyu!!, Moriarty the Patriot) is overseeing the series scripts, and Yō Moriyama (Lupin the IIIrd: Goemon’s Blood Spray, Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen’s Gravestone) is the character designer.
Rock band Kroi perform the new opening theme song “Method.” go!go!vanillas perform the new theme ending theme song “Dandelion.”
The anime premiered on TV Tokyo and affiliated channels on January 11, and the series also debuted on Netflix on January 11.
Suzuki published a one-shot titled “Sakamoto” in Jump Giga in December 2019, and then
launched the main manga in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in November 2020. Shueisha published the manga’s 23rd compiled book volume on August 4. The manga began its “final battle” on August 4.
Viz Media and MANGA Plus are publishing the manga in English digitally. MANGA Plus describes the manga:
