PHOENIX — A man is dead after a shooting in downtown Phoenix on Thursday night, authorities said.
Porfirio Medina, 45, was identified as the man killed in the deadly incident, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers responded to the area of 7th Street and Buckeye Road regarding reports of a shooting around 10:45 p.m.
When police arrived on scene, they found Medina suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Medina was taken to a hospital where he later died.
