Former Vice President Kamala Harris is embarking on a tour to promote her upcoming book about the 2024 presidential campaign — and she’s making a stop in Los Angeles.

Harris, who became the Democratic presidential nominee in 2024 once then-President Joe Biden ended his reelection bid, is scheduled to appear at The Wiltern theater on Monday, Sept. 29, to promote her memoir, “107 Days.”

The appearance will be one on a tour of 15 stops. Most, including the Los Angeles visit, will be held in theaters or music halls, while some will be held in much smaller venues like independent book stores, her publisher said.

The memoir, titled after the length of her short campaign, is set to be released by Simon & Schuster on Sept. 23.

“107 Days is my candid and personal account of the shortest presidential campaign in modern history,” Harris posted on X about the tour. “Over the next few months, I will travel our country to share behind-the-scenes moments, lessons learned, and how we keep moving forward together.”

Other stops include Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; Durham, North Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; and Portland, Oregon. London and Toronto are also included on the tour.

Harris — a California native who rose to prominence as attorney general and U.S. senator for the state — said in a social media post about the upcoming book that she’s spent a lot of time reflecting since leaving office after President Donald Trump’s 2024 victory. She said the 320-page book is written with “candor and reflection.”

“I’ve written a behind-the-scenes account of that journey,” she said. “I believe there’s value in sharing what I saw, what I learned, and what it will take to move forward.”

The former vice president said last month that she would not run for California governor but didn’t confirm other plans, including another try at the White House in 2026.
