• Football is finally back with College Football’s Week 0 on Saturday, August 23
  • Obviously, we need ot show the books what time it is, and we’re definitely going to do that
  • See below for both of my Week 0 nukes that the books will never see coming

Look alive, people, it’s football season! It’s Week 0, and even though the haters say it’s not “real” football, it is.

Let me tell you something about haters: they lie about stuff all the time. The idea that Week 0 doesn’t count is crazy. Anytime football is on TV and the game counts in the standings, it’s real. What makes it even more real is the fact that we’re betting on it.

There are profit boosts galore all over the place, and I found two games tomorrow that were screaming for a little boost. If we’re being honest, I think we’re going to point to this Saturday as the day it all got even better for us. Just a feeling.

All odds as of Aug. 22 from Caesars & FanDuel. Claim the FanDuel promo code to sign up and tail our picks.

The first game of the day is Iowa State versus Kansas State in Dublin, Ireland. If we’re being honest with ourselves, we need to be on this thing. I couldn’t imagine not having a little cash on the first NCAA Football game of the season. These kids went all the way to Ireland for this thing. We can’t have them playing for nothing.

Something tells me Kansas State will be ready to roll.

Obviously, both of these teams will be ready to go at the kickoff of this thing, but it’s Kansas State that is getting my love (and money). It’s Avery Johnson season, guys. In the early-season matchups, I’m always taking the better quarterback. This kid is highly skilled and loaded with talent on his side of the ball. The expectations are there for Johnson this season, and this time around, he looks ready to hold up to them.

It’s not just about Johnson and his cannon for an arm; this is about the entire team. Narrative street is a wild place, but the fact that Iowa State beat the Wildcats in late November last year will play a factor. The Cyclones ruined everything for Kansas State, and now it’s time for a little revenge. Throw in the fact that we’ve got a little 50% boost to use at Caesars, and now we’re looking at a certified banger. Feels easy.

Back in the day, the move for us gamblers was to get loose all day Saturday, hit the town at night, and then throw a ton of cash at the over in Hawaii and whoever they were playing in Honolulu. Those games were at midnight, and they were electric because Tommy Chang went all video game on people. Some say those were the greatest days of our lives.

The thing is, those same people are now saying those days could be back, and we need to be here for it.

Clearly, times are different now, but it’s fine. This game isn’t at midnight, so there is that, but it’s still the last one of the night. Chang is no longer the quarterback, but he is the head coach, and he has a kid in Micah Alejado, who is similar to a young Chang (kind of).

The Rainbow Warriors looked to be on the right track at the end of last season, and the expectations are that they will take a step forward this season. I say we turn back the clocks and throw our FanDuel boost at these guys Saturday night. Feels like the move.
