Park Place Dealerships plans to transform a former Raytheon site into a Porsche hub in Irving.

An Irving-based luxury automotive dealer could soon begin work to transform a former Raytheon site into a two-story hub for Porsches.

Park Place Dealerships could start construction on a 109,144-square-foot showroom and service shop at 6000 Lemmon Ave. in December, according to planning documents filed with the state. The documents filed recently with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate construction could wrap up in March 2027 and cost about $26 million.

Information found in such TDLR filings is preliminary and subject to change, but such documents provide an early look into development plans. A spokesperson for Park Place did not respond to a request for comment.

The Irving-based dealership purchased the 15-acre site from RTX Corp, formerly known as Raytheon, in December. Financial details of the deal weren’t disclosed but real estate experts familiar with the matter previously valued the property between $55 million and $70 million.
