SAN ANTONIO – A bar fight turned stabbing has left one person hospitalized, and one suspect on the run.

Around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to calls for a cutting near the corner of Loop 1604 and Tradesman Drive on the North side.

When police arrived at the hospital, they learned that the 21-year-old victim had been at a local bar when a fight broke out between him and a suspect.

During the altercation, the unknown suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen and fled the scene.

The victim was rushed to the hospital by friends. The investigation is ongoing.
