In light of back-to-school season, U.S. World and Report released its annual rankings for the best public high schools in the country this week. We took a look at the ones from Fort Worth.
U.S. World and Report created its ranking based on state assessments and how well the schools prepare their students for college. Each school receives a score out of 100. The score reflects how well each school did on a national percentile basis. You can see the magazine’s full methodology here.
Fort Worth Independent School District operates 21 public high schools, which U.S. World and Report ranked in order from best to worst. The highest a Fort Worth ISD school ranked on U.S. News’ Texas public schools list is No. 25.
