LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) – A Houston man is behind bars after being accused of fatally stabbing a man in Lufkin.
Jemarcus Dewayne Doggett, 31, was arrested Monday and charged with the murder of Wesley Allen Agent, 44.
Police first responded to an altercation on the 900 block of Genn Street around 2:30 a.m. Saturday where they were told Agent had been stabbed and taken to the hospital, according to a release,
Investigators questioned Doggett Saturday, who was found at a nearby home but continued their investigation, later arresting Doggett Moday.
He was then booked into the Angelina County Jail.
