While it’s still a little too early for brisk autumnal mornings, Tuesday’s cooler temperatures may have some North Texans feeling the fall spirit.
After a mild cold front moved into the area overnight, the forecasted high for Tuesday of 90 is eight degrees lower than the day before. The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office is also expecting the humidity to be lower than the region has seen most of the summer.
A chance of rain is also possible in the afternoon, but the showers are primarily expected to stick to the north of the metro area. Limited rain chances are also possible Wednesday and Thursday before a second, stronger cold front moves in for the weekend.
That second front will bring with it highs down in the mid-80s and higher chances of precipitation over the holiday weekend.
