Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate, Sophie Cunningham, posted a swimsuit photo to her Instagram page on Monday evening, August 25.
Cunningham, who is out for the season with a knee injury, posted a swimsuit photo to cheer herself up. The Indiana Fever guard suffered a season-ending right knee injury during an overtime win over the Connecticut Sun on August 17. Cunningham is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing surgery. The former University of Missouri star is going to be in a knee brace for a while, though.

Cunningham, who was traded from the Phoenix Mercury to the Indiana Fever this offseason, was averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, before going down with a painful injury.

Cunningham cheers herself up with a swimsuit photo
Cunningham, who has become one of the most followed players in the WNBA – she is tied for 8th in the league in Instagram followers with 1.2 million followers – posted a jaw-dropping swimsuit photo on Monday night.
“Back when my knee was healthy,” she wrote.

Clark, who is in her first season of being Sophie’s teammate, couldn’t believe what she saw on Instagram on Monday night.

“Jeez Sophie,” Clark wrote in a comment that has been liked more than 8,000 times.
“Can’t like this.”
Cunningham, though, is far from the only WNBA player to share a sizzling swimsuit photo on social media. In fact, some of the league’s top players have posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Angel Reese, Skylar Diggs and Sue Bird, among others, have all been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Perhaps Cunningham will be next.
