A serious police incident is unfolding on the Mitchell Freeway, resulting in heavy delays.
The freeway is closed northbound from Canning Highway to Graham Farmer Freeway and traffic is at a standstill.
Main Roads has warned traffic is banked up to Cranford Avenue and has advised motorists to exit the freeway at Roe Highway or Leach Highway.
Police and St John Ambulance are at the scene.
