The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the hospital, officials said.

PHOENIX — A crash left a motorcyclist dead on Tuesday night in Phoenix, according to the city’s police department.

Officers responded to the crash, near Camelback Road and 24th Street, just before 6 p.m. and found the driver of a motorcycle in critical condition at the scene, officials said. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. 

The other vehicle involved stayed at the scene. Detectives are currently investigating the crash.
