Good evening, DFW We’re wrapping up the day for you with the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.

Your Weather Planner

Shower and storm activity will fizzle out after nightfall tonight, but there is lots more to come over the holiday weekend. Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day (Monday) each feature a low end risk for excessive rainfall, meaning that some ponding/nuisance flooding is likely. It won’t rain for th entirety of the weekend, but we’ll get multiple rounds of storms with pockets of moderate to heavy rain.

DFW will enjoy some fall-like temperatures (middle and lower 80s) for the holiday weekend. For Austin and San Antonio, the “cool” air is more delayed and temperatures will only get into the upper 80s Sunday-Monday.
