HOUSTON, Texas (KTRE) – Former Woodville Eagle Darius Bean blocked a punt in Houston Christian’s 69-0 win over Arkansas Baptist, 69-0.
The redshirt sophomore blocked the punt in the third quarter, with the Huskies up 34-0.
Bean also had two tackles and he broke up a pass.
For Arkansas Baptist, Jim Carruthers (Crockett) had a half sack and two tackles.
HCU (1-0) travels to Richmond, Kentucky, on Saturday to play Eastern Kentucky at 5 p.m.
