The Mexican Independence Day Festival is a vibrant celebration that pays homage to Mexico’s rich history and cultural heritage and brings communities together to honor the country’s declaration of independence. Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show – The show continues its 98-year history with a platform for student artists to learn from professional artists and gain exposure to patrons. We are the Seeds Philly 2025 – From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cherry Street Pier, the two-day celebration of indigenous arts and cultures features presentations, live painting, short films, creative workshops, and an indigenous art market. Saturday begins with a Pow Wow featuring dancers and singers from over 40 Tribal Nations, including host drums Silvercloud Singers (Intertribal) and Young Blood Singers (Shinnecock). Sunday highlights include presentations by the We Are the Seeds Dance Troupe (Saponi/Narragansett) and The Magic of Storytelling with Tchin (Narragansett).
