Maman taking over full space on West Broadway
Maman in 2015
Maman, the coffee shop, bakery and restaurant that first opened in Soho in 2014 (ours was the second location) and has since expanded to a huge chain across the city and down to DC, is closed as of September 1 while it renovates the full space at its location at 211 West Broadway. Since 2018, Paper Source has been in the front of the shop; they are no longer part of the collaboration there.
They could not give a lot of details or renderings (the photo below is at least thematic! and they’ve got the ruler ready to go!), but said that there will be more seating, an expanded pastry display, updated design elements and a reimagined layout to create a smoother guest experience for dining and private events.
The renovation is expected to take about six to eight weeks, with a reopening date to be confirmed soon.
Maman also has locations in the Goldman Breezeway and on Canal and Hudson. There are 23 total in NYC alone.
