Summer hasn’t quite let go of North Texas yet.
After a milder Labor Day weekend with significant rain, drier conditions are expected to push the temperature back into the upper 90s by the end of this week.
The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office is forecasting milder humidity for the end of the week, though, keeping the heat index much closer to the forecast air temperature.
Wednesday is expected to be seasonably appropriate, with a high of 92 degrees, marking the transition between the below-average temperatures at the start of the week and summer temps by the end.
