FORT WORTH – Yolanda Mejia Vaquera, was born in Dallas Texas, on November 9, 1990, to parents, Raul Mejia and Manuela Mejia. She was one of four sisters; Leticia Mejia, Marisela Mejia and Noelia Mejia. She passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025, after years of battling cancers. Yolanda was a devoted mother to Sophia Vaquera, her pride and joy. She took special joy in seeing what a “good kid” she had grown up to be. Yolanda was a loving wife to Jesus Rodriguez for 8 years. They are a clear example that distance means nothing when two hearts are meant to be. Yolanda will be remembered for her deep faith, her big heart and the devotion she showed to her family. She touched the lives of every person she met by simply being herself.
