We are still enjoying our nice, long stretch of beautiful weather, but unfortunately, it will be coming to an end just as the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles take the field Thursday night.

This afternoon, sunshine and a gusty southerly wind will push temps into the mid-80s.

The afternoon winds are coming ahead of a cold front that’s already pushing showers toward central Pennsylvania, and the wet weather is on track to arrive in Philadelphia during tonight’s game.

Game Day Timeline

Tailgating looks dry before the game, but keep an eye.

Temperatures will drop to mid-70s by kickoff.

Shower and storm chances ramp up just as the Eagles and Cowboys kick off.

Not expecting rain for the entire game, but scattered showers are likely.

If you’re going to the game, bring a poncho and be prepared for wet weather.

There is a low chance of severe weather, but isolated severe thunderstorms with damaging winds aren’t out of the question.

At this time, the stronger storms look more likely to occur west of Philadelphia than in the city.

Sunshine returns tomorrow before another round of showers and thunderstorms later Saturday.
