HOUSTON — The Yankees know what it’s like to feel cheated in Houston.
Before Minute Maid Park had a name change to Daikin Park this year, the Astros infamously banged on garbage-can lids to relay illegal stolen signs to hitters during home games in 2017, a World Series championship season that included taking out the Yankees in a seven-game ALCS.

The Yankees always suspected something fishy was going on in their 2019 ALCS rematch, too, because of how it ended.
They’re still not buying Jose Altuve’s excuse for not wanting his game jersey torn off after his Game 6 pennant-winning homer. He claimed he grasped his game jersey crossing the plate and then immediately ran into the clubhouse to change into a T-shirt because his wife didn’t want him on the field bare-chested.
That brought out a lot of Yankees LOLs.
Years later, with both teams still hating each other, the Yankees left their house of horrors Wednesday night feeling screwed over again.

This time, they were blaming plate umpire Brian Walsh’s late-innings strike zone for their 8-7 loss.
The Astros got some help during their eighth-inning rally when a 4-4 game turned into 8-4, thanks to at least three missed calls with Devin Williams pitching for the Yankees.
