Burglars smashed through doors and windows when they broke into businesses, including Dinah’s Chicken, Friday morning at a Glendale strip mall.
The early morning break-ins were reported at four businesses on San Fernando Road, north of Los Feliz Road.
Security video showed two burglars smash the glass door of Dinah’s Chicken and split up inside the restaurant. One person went behind the counter with the other appearing to head toward the rear of the business.
Family-owned Dinah’s Chicken opened at the location in 1967. The restaurant was not open at the time of the burglary.
Windows and doors were damaged at some of the businesses, including a bakery, cafe and coin laundry.
No arrests were reported early Friday.
